Day Three/Trois/Tres - Eye, River Thames, Harrods

Here is Home Sweet Home - We live with Ma and Pa (Krystle and Neil) and Auntie and Uncle (Agi and Luke) In the right most house. Thats Neil's mini copper s in the drive!Headed into London today with our off peak travel card, zones 1,2,3 and 4 - first tube stop being Waterloo, on the jubilee gardens. We were both desperate to take a spin on the eye! Queues were long but moved quickly! For 90 pounds we received 2 tickets on the eye, 2 tickets on a river cruise and 2 tickets for Madame Tassuads.

Waterloo station
The eye offered great views of the city and more importantly Big Ben and Houses of Parliament.

Next up was some lunch at a nice pub restaurant in County Hall called Slug and lettuce.

We then went off to the Pier to aboard our 40 minute River Cruise with commentary!!!
Im glad we did this we got some great info and now know what all places on the river are.
We saw Shakespeare Globe theatre, Tate Modern, HMS Belfast, Tower of London and ... and... Tower Bridge!!!!! I though it was London Bridge but its called Tower Bridge, there is a London bridge but its got nothing on Tower Bridge.
Globe Theatre

Then back on the tube to Knightsbridge to go to Harrods......... 5 levels of ultraaaaa expensive shopping! I didn't even want anything!! It was depressing!

So by then our feet were asking for mercy and we headed home.
